Being a woman today it is an amazing juxtaposition of strength and grace. Culture shifts through the centuries and we happen to find ourselves in a world that is dominated by men. This means we get to live the best of both worlds, maintain our grace, but ride just as hard as the men. 

One summer, a girlfriend invited me to accompany her on a road ride to train for a local triathlon. I didn’t have a road bike and borrowed an old one from another friend. It was nothing like I expected. As I pedaled, the road slipped by, the air blew through me, I felt my inner power, and I felt the grace of beauty and freedom. I felt my strength and grace in a perfect balance. I had fallen in love with road biking.

I met Renzo Formigli in Florence. I was in the market to buy a road bicycle and I decided to order a custom frame from him.

I loved the bicycle he made me so much I decided to make it my life. I am now the CEO of FormigliUSA International.

I never thought to try road biking; instead it took the invitation of a girlfriend. Now it is my passion to be this person for women and invite them to join me for an experience that is worth living for.This is not just a bicycle.
